Auction Money at Work

We would like to invite you to join us as we continue to work not only to help our children, but to continue the extraordinary ripple effect of investing in a local, public school in the heart of Dallas.

Lovingly dubbed “The Little School that Could” by the Dallas Morning News, Withers Elementary resides in the heart of Dallas. We are a Title I school staffed by some of the best teachers in Dallas who have achieved the state’s highest ratings through their work and, of course, your support. With over 50% of students considered “economically
disadvantaged,” support outside of our immediate school families is critical for our continued success.

Last year’s efforts raised more than $150,000 with the proceeds funding two key areas: school-wide field trips and much needed facility improvements.

In past years, auction funds have been used to renovate our school library and entryway, create new outdoor play areas for the health and fitness of our students and update our computer lab. Auction funds are also a driving factor in providing the highest quality field trips for our students, including a 5th grade overnight field trip to Sky Ranch (a truly remarkable trip for students, many of whom have never traveled away from home) and a 4th grade day trip to our state capital in Austin.

Looking ahead, there are more areas to be renovated, classrooms and teachers to equip and upcoming field trips to be funded! If you can help us, please contact Jessica Whitson at .

Thank you for your support of our wonderful school!
